Five new pitches, Hundreds of possibilities

By unholylove88

from Las Vegas, NV

Comments about LP1210 Granite Block/Mount:

Whether is putting on a mini-Bozzio solo, or a one-man rendition to the Super Mario Bros. theme, these blocks will serve you well. They're like tanks, and even weigh a few too. Price-wise, it seems a bit steep, but if you're into limb-against-limb drumming mixed with melody and chordal playing, you can't go wrong. These are a great value (and sound better than the Ludwigs too!). Get 'em.. but do try them first. Not for everybody.

Great peice of percussion!

By prog-man

from California

Comments about LP1210 Granite Block/Mount:

We have a set of these at my school, and they are great to mess around with. There are all sorts of patterns and fills you can play on these. Mike Portnoy played them in his duet with Jordan Rudess at their Budokan concert, search it on youtube if you want to see the possibilities these blocks provide. A set of these will definitely be my next drum-related purchase

Great Product!

By LudwigDrummer1234

from Durham

Comments about LP1210 Granite Block/Mount:

My High School band has a set of these, and they sound great! The mounting system is very sturdy too. These blocks can take some punishment, and still sound awesome. If you have the money, and like the sound of jam blocks and such, i would highly recommend these.

Wicked Awesome Blocks!

By Rocker kid

from Kentucky

Comments about LP1210 Granite Block/Mount:

We have a set of these at my school and they are my absolute favorite things to play! Yoy can play loads of diffrent kinds of music with these things. And like it says above, I guarentee you will break your sticks before you break the blocks. You could literally run these over with a truck before they break!

$200? Are you serious?

By Brad Matznick

from Michigan

Comments about LP1210 Granite Block/Mount:

LP... are you nuts? I've been in the injection molding business for 25 years. You have $15 in plastic material invested and another $7 in steel parts. Add $3 in labor (China) and you are up to $25 x 4.2 (retail) and now you are at $105.. plus freight I suppose. I love em, but I'm not buying until you come down to earth on your pricing.
