Twelve Neodymium Speakers and Waveguide Technology Provide Pristine Highs and Mids

At the heart of the MAUI 44 G2 are twelve 3.5" neodymium full-range speakers and four 1" HF drivers with waveguides. The phase plugs on the six upper drivers improve horizontal directivity, reduce distortion and optimize the sensitivity below the crossover frequency for the tweeters. The four tweeters also feature compression drivers coupled to constant directivity waveguides for 120 degrees of coverage and focused 25-degree vertical directivity. The waveguide's curved design transports more high-frequency energy to listeners at a distance.

Cardioid Beamforming and a 15-Inch Sub Create Powerful, Direction Bass

With its cardioid beamforming, the MAUI 44 G2 achieves 18 dB of rear attenuation from the column and 15 dB from the subwoofer, focusing the sound where you want it. The 15" subwoofer renders deep, impactful bass down to 37 Hz, and a subwoofer out allows connection of an additional sub for an even bigger low-end presence. Use the subwoofer level control to perfectly balance the bass with the full-range column.

Easily adjust levels for the main and subwoofer sections, and use the one-knob EQ to dial in the perfect amount of mid-scoop for any application. For stereo coverage, two units can be wirelessly linked via Bluetooth for a cable-free setup. Bluetooth streaming is also on board for playing back high-quality audio from compatible devices.
