Kustom

Description

The 20W Kustom KG112FX combo guitar amplifier boast a 12" Kustom speaker, 2 channels, and tasty reverb and delay effects. Kustom designed the KG112FX combo to offer a wide range of clean and dirty tones, while providing rugged dependability and intuitive operation.

The KG112FX amp's Rhythm channel offers clear, dynamic tones that are perfect for a wide variety of musical styles. Using the Gain control, the Lead channel can dish out anything from chunky Classic Rock sounds to the heaviest, modern Metal tones out there. Separate Bass, Middle and Treble controls let players fine-tune the amp's tonal response as required.

In addition, the KG112FX provides built-in Reverb and Delay effects that may be activated on the amp's front panel. Reverb can provide anything from subtle room ambiance to an all-out wash of cavernous sound. Delay is perfect for fattening up lead tones, especially when combined with distortion.

Like every Kustom KG amplifier, the KG112FX offers an auxiliary input for plugging in an MP3 or CD player to practice along with tunes and a 1/8" headphone input that silences the internal speaker for late-night playing. Your family and neighbors will love it.

All KG Series amplifiers include a 5-year, transferable electronics warranty to give you extra peace-of-mind with your purchase.

So i bought this amp as a replacement for the one i blew at college last year. I usually play through tubes so i was looking for a good solid clean sound, this amp fit the bill perfectly. This amp has really good clean tone, but the drive is horrible, delay is practically non existent but the reverb isn't terrible for a non-fender amp. I mainly amplify my Taylor 414 with this now and it sounds great. Overall i would say i am happy because i knew it wasn't gonna be anything compared to what i'm used to playing through

This amp is a very versitile piece of gear. The gain on the front channel would make a practicing shredder happy even if the battery in the boss fuzz went dead. There is more than enough power here to rock an average size den. The 12in.speaker takes it in stride without any rattling. The tonal array is more than enough for any genre. For the money you get a lot. This is not a tube anp but it is so easy to get some wicked feedback even at fairly low volume. On clean channel with the delay and reverb you can get some nice sustain there too.For the money I think this is one cool little amp with a lot of attitude. This could upset the neighbors if you live in an apartment.I put this amp to the test with a Squier Deluxe Strat with Duncan Designed single coils. Don't take my word for it though.Try it for yourself.
