The Jackson SL3 Soloist electric guitar features an alder body with a flame maple top on transparent finishes. Its maple neck through body combined with its compound radius rosewood fingerboard provides amazing sustain, and quick playability. It is powered by a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge position, and a Hot Rails in the middle and neck position. It also features a Floyd Rose tremolo and black hardware.
Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

I have been playing guitar for over ten years. I've played Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, Gretch and PRS guitars during that time but I have to say that this guitar is the one that I just can't stop playing! Although my PRS is an excellent guitar, this guitar has a warmer tone and stays in tune more than any other I've owned. I play with high gain settings with delay and this guitar has the tone I've been chasing. The neck through construction also gives you unbelievable sustain! The neck and fret board feel fantastic and play a big part in the overall playability of this guitar. The Floyd Rose is extremely responsive and I was amazed how well this guitar stays in tune...finally! I used to think that Jackson was a lower end guitar but I was wrong. I would highly recommend this guitar.
