No better buy out there. The subs do require lots of power to sound good, must have a good amp for this subs , Has 1/4in., 2 speakon jacks as well as a very useful pole mount on the top of the cab, Sounds incredible for the price. Great Bass! a must have for any mobil Dj. Clean,Clear and Crisp. This sub will handle anything you through at it flawless. I have had them well over a year and they have never failed once.. I take great care to not push my power amps too hard to cause clipping which will lead to the demise of just about any speaker. Great job jbl.

this speaker really thumbs.. its more speaker than box.. I highly recommend the Crown xti 1000 amp.it has a crossover in it that works great( set it to BRG SUBS ) and make sure u bridge that subwoofer to amp and watch it perform..Im a female,,, QUALITY matters.

Man-- it's no movie unless I feel the sound that movie is droping on me. This subwoofer does it big time for me. I got this subwoofer team up with Klipsch speaker 7.1 system it's the hot ticket to the show at home in my media room. Being an Old Dee-Jay of many years in Chicago. I just got have that right sound mix. To please me in my Big Sceen and music zone at home. It's the best heart pounding sound you can get in a media room size 25 x 20 x 15 height. Powered by a Crest Audio Power Amp 1000 watt on the sub that give that clean punch. and my 7.1 is powered at 1400 watts rms into 7 channels. I think that's hot!!!!! to my zone in watching James Bond, Ben Hur, NFL Game, Live Concerts, Action anything movie in HG or Blue Ray. I sometimes sleep in that media room the sound is that great. My wife don't worry about me --she knows where I am on any given night. JBL is the best!!!!!!!! 18''Guys
Great Beginner Sub

I have had these speakers for two years. I am using a qsc2450 to power them. They give great bass, for a hall that limits around two hundred people. They are light and portable. My main problem though is that you would need like six in a big hall which is too many speakers to carry, as well as your high and midrange speakers that need to be brought too. So if you know your going to play in bigger halls buy a stronger sub. For home use and small parties under 150 people a pair of these subs is a killer.

Although I like JBL products more than all the others, I have to admit, this is an excellent sub! Everything you need right here. I have mine hooked up to my JBL Eons and the sound is great. If I had two subs it might be too much actually. I take these three speakers everywhere I dj, the music bumps and sounds extremly clean. Hip hop, RnB, DnB, house, it doesn't make a differenc, way better than the rest.
