great guitar for anyone who loves to play classics it has a very nice sound to it and the electric part of the guitar is better than i expected, i hhighly recommend this guitar
What an amazing piece of engineering, beautiful to look at and a pleasure to play. Im kinda new to playing guitar, i have been playing an acoustic Fender i borrowed from a friend for a few months now, and i can't believe the improvement i have noticed with this guitar. Im a firm believer thats its not the instrument, but the player, well i would like to say that an amazing instrument helps.
for a price like this the acoustic sound is just amazing. it blew me away. the tone is rich and vibrant and it sounds good with an amp. i prefer it without an amp because you hear firsthand the acoustic sounds. the built-in tuner has a bit of trouble picking up the string. i cant stop about the tone. its deep and resonant. the guitar overall is great but the neck was added on the body and not built with it.
I went guitar hunting and was looking for a nice looking, great sound of guitar, when I picked up this guitar the look was attracting, but what drew me in and convinced me to buy it was the tone. Really nice sounding guitar, totally caught me off guard with the sound it released especially when plugged into a system. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone.
I originally went to the store with a particular electric/acoustic in mind. When I played it, I was not impressed. Then the salesman handed me this model and I instantly fell in love. The sound was full and clean both plugged and unplugged. I have only been playing for a couple of months but learning on this guitar has been rewarding. I also had a friend of mine (who has been playing for 20+ years) play this guitar hours after I bought it, and even he was impressed. Another nice thing is the size. I'm only 5' 6" and this guitar fits me perfectly. I definately recommend this guitar to anyone.
I have been playing since 1971. Needless to say I have owned many guitars. I play in my Church's contemporary band and I need a good accoustic-electric. I had been playing a Taylor 710-E. This is not a guitar you would want to play unplugged, but the onboard electronics are fantastic. My Taylor can't compare when plugged in. I highly reccomend this guitar for a plugged in application.
This was my first acoustic/electric guitar, and It's the best one I've ever really played. It is decently light, and its style is amazing. (Had to get the blue.)It works great for any kind of performance, whether you're preforming in a concert, or around a campfire. It sounds excellent acoustic, and plugged in. It's an all around decent guitar; although, the price given here is a little high for what I got mine for.
I'm just a beginner but this is easily the best guitar I've ever played. It has a great tone and thin body. It's easy to play and very comfortable. The cutaway makes it easy to play the higher frets and is amazing. It was worth the money but could have been cheaper. Other than that, perfect.
This was and upgrade for me from an acoustic to an acoustic-electric. I have always liked the styling and playability of the Ibanez guitars. Especially this one with the mother-of-pearl on the neck and great sunburst look. This guitar sounds excellant plugged in or unplugged. I would deffinatly recamend it to anyone who is looking to make the transition to an acoustic-electric guitar.
Its pretty decent guitar. I love the body shape, not quite a Jumbo but its not a Dreadnaught either. For a smaller guy like me at only 5 Feet and 4 inches barely over 120 lbs I wanted the largest guitar body possible to a Jumbo without going with a Jumbo, its just hard to reach over the top for me, this fills the bill nicely. My frets were fantastic, well dressed and the action was actually perfect, I have not had to do anything to this guitar yet except play it. My only gripe and this is a common issue with a lot of folks, some 9 Volt batteries are not the exact same size so the onboard electronics didn't work with the batteries I bought, got a different brand and it works, you either have to buy larger batteries or stretch the spring contacts out a touch. Just in case anyone else has this problem.
