  • great sound for the price

As reviewed by Nate on 5/12/2008

This amp is good if you want an amp upgrade. It is loud probobly because the speaker is rated for 6o watts even though the amp is 30 watts. THe clean channel sounds good and you can distort it with the gain nob on the clean channel. The other channel sounds best with full gain. You can get a great thrash tone and a good modern tone just by messing around with the nobs. Also this has reverb. I don't use it but it is still there. I don't really use the distortion channel but thats because I have a distortion peddle. But if you are looking for good amp distortion this is good. Only watch for the feedback. Dont know how well it works on the road or on stage but I can play with another guitarist and a bass with no problem. But this is defenitly a great amp. You will not have any regrets about buying it.

  • AWSOME AMP!!!!!

As reviewed by serialkillah8000 on 5/30/2009

this amp is very loud and clear for a little 30 watt amp but it really does the job, i dont really use the clean channel to much but it is really nice and crisp and with the wide array of tone it really has diversity. Now the dirty side of things this amp really has a crunchy warm feel to it that is really nice, i run a modetone speedbox distorion pedal through it and man this thing really sounds chunky and crunchy, anyway if you want a good practice amp that will really hold up, its for you.

  • Great Little Amp.

As reviewed by Kyle L. on 1/2/2011

When I first started getting serious about playing guitar I bought this amp used. Suprisingly you can get alot of really cool sounds out of this amp by just messing with the different knobs and stuff. I now use a Line 6 Spider IV 150w halfstack but this amp is still great and it gets plenty loud to play with a full band. These days, for lack of a PA system or anything I use this amp for vocals/sax during practice or for keyboard. Not sure if that's good for it but I've had it for over a year since I bought it used and it still works great. Highly recomend if you need an amp loud enough to play with full band (drums, bass, guitars, etc)for guitar or for other various stuff and want to not spend too much.
