One Great Bass

This is the second bass ive owned and it was a deffinetly an upgrade, for the money it is a great package all around, the neck is slim and quick, you can make it sound just about any way you want with the options, i highly recomend this guitar to anyone who is in the beginer/intermidate range,

AWESOME!

This is a great bass! i bought this bass for my band project and i absolutely love it! i have no complaints about this bass! This is also an amazing bass for budget-minded people. I play this bass more than my Fender Jaguar i think! I love it. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. :) keep rockin'.

Great first or last bass

Just as it's description says this is an exellent first bass(it was mine nine months ago). Along with my newly purchased Ibanez 35 watt bass amp(see my review)this bass was a great value for the Ibanez quality. This guitar has helped me trust the Ibanez name and I will continue to buy from them. This bass is not a should buy, it's a must buy.

great bass

The Ibanez GSR 200 is an awesome bass! I bought mine at Guitar Center in Greenwood, Indiana for 200 bucks and it was worth every penny. The Jewel Blue color is killer and the bass booster is pretty cool too. The only problem I have with the bass is that the bass boost can often make my Fender Rumble 60 amp distorted when turned up all the way. Other than that, I love the EQ and the fingerboard is slick plus it's so easy to fret. Overall, Ibanez deserves an award just for coming up with the idea of this bass.

Not bad for beginners

This was the first bass I bought when I started. Overall, if you are a beginner, it sounds fine. Good to learn on, good to practice on. BUT this bass is that it has no mids at all and the deep bass sounds muddy (typical of Ibanez since they are heavy metal/rock basses). I understand this is a entry level priced bass, but if you can only buy one bass and you want to start playing with a band I'd save up just a bit more and get a used Fender standard (P or J) or even one of the new Squire Vintage Modified basses.
