  • Great Guitar

    As reviewed by Dominican_Sk8ter 14 on 5/8/2007

I've had this guitar for a little over a year now and it has served me very well. The only thing that i don't like is that the tremolo bar isn't that good. But otherwise its an awesome guitar with a decent sound, and good quality. I also liked the great price. I would recommend this to anyone who is a beginner or someone who's on a tight budget.

  • Excellent Guitar

As reviewed by MadamVampire on 11/10/2009

My 15 year old son purchased this guitar a few months back. He loves it! Absolutely no problems at all with it. Work perfectly. The strings that came with it were fine, but my son always changes the strings to the brand that he likes. So other than that, it was awesomly perfect!

  • AMAZING guitar!

As reviewed by Ibanez5038 on 12/30/2009

I'm not a beginner anymore, but I'm not a very experienced player either, adding that to my tight budget I wanted a cheap guitar, and I must say some of the reviews I had read discouraged me. But I was wrong in thinking it would only be an ok guitar, it's a lot more than that. It's GREAT! The jewel blue finish is gorgeous, but that's not the only thing that looks nice in the guitar, it's beautiful. The sound is very good too, although I might replace the pickups. The strings that came with it were very good and even though I've been playing for more that 6 hours a day they're as good as new. The strings don't go out of tune, except when you first buy it, but it doesn't last much. Just don't use the tremolo arm a lot because it will get it very out of tune. But this is not a Floyd Rose, so it's ok. I had considered the Squire Strat and I can't say how happy I am I got this instead. It's great for metal and any other genres too, although I think jazz would be better with another type of guitar. Ibanez quality is awesome, this is the best guitar you can get at this price, and it's not only for beginners, it can be good for any other player who doesn't want to spend much. Sure, maybe you wouldn't want to perform for thousands of people with it, but it's still very cool. I really love this guitar, it took me 3 days to do what I couldn't do in 8 months with my other guitar (cheap acoustic).
