this thing is strange...

i used to have an ibanez rx2ex1,but i traded it in for this because i was looking for a guitar that could produce more of a smoother sound. the other one seemed to be more tuned to metal and hard rock. this guitar can produce a great sound for the person looking for a getaway from the recent surge of angry music. but when i went to humour myself by putting my amp on metal and 100% gain, whoa, this thing can roar out better metal than some solid bodies can.

I am so happy!

I love this guitar. I haven't had mine long, but just looking at it makes me want to play. It looks mean and sounds clean. It handles abuse well and can belt out good sound for a smooth blues tone. I was really surprised how it handles distortion and effects. As far as playing it, it gets even better. This sucker stays in tune after some real abuse. Notable facts for anyone interested in this guitar are minor. The neck is wide and the frets are just a tad big to start out with, but very easy to get used to. Finding a hard case has seemed a big problem. It has the dimensions(WxL) as a regular hollowbody but is much thinner and hard to size a case that is not made specifically for it. It was a little heavy at first, again it is easy to get used to. One last small thing, this sucker is hard to keep clean. It is still well worth the price for such a nice guitar.
