Comments about Hipshot SuperTone Gibson 2-Point Bass Bridge:
The Hipshot Supertone 2 Point bridge is great for bringing some life back into a Gibson EB bass. My old bridge had plastic saddles and some of them did not sit flush so there was a bit of buzzing when I would pick hard. The Hipshot saddles are metal and very adjustable so that takes care of that! This bridge also sits right on the bass body so there is some tone improvement. Bear in mind that this might leave a mark if you ever want to go back to your original bridge. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it was missing a set screw when I got it (which was thirty cents at a hardware store so not really a problem but, you know, it was supposed to be included). I also had to slightly grind out one of the holes on the bridge to fit where my bass was threaded (handmade bass from 50 years ago so I can't really blame anyone, it was just more work than I expected to have to do). The bridge looks absolutely killer on the bass and gives that big "mudbucker" some of the punch it was missing in the growl department. This is a great new bridge for a great old bass.
