Comments about Hal Leonard Logic 8 Beginner Level (DVD):
I found this DVD helpful in getting a basic understanding of the workings of Logic 8. There are plenty of tips for using keyboard commands to make you life easier and navigate the arrangement and mixer. If you are not knowledgable about how to set up your system you won't get much help from this DVD. In 2 viewings of the DVD I have been able to increase my productivity to a basic level in recording, editing audio, using channel strip settings, mixing and bouncing to CD. This is a good place to start. It has also prompted me to read the manual to get more in-depth info. I also purchased and watched the Advanced DVD. It has alot of overlap with the beginner DVD but has more instrument and automation tips. One downside is that he introduces alot of stuff but never really gets to explaining them completely.
