Not Poser, Poster!

The Hal Leonard Guitar Theory Poster is a must for all beginners and all the uninformed non-beginners, who do not have the benefit of lessons. I happen to fall into the second category. I learned on Beatles, Clapton, and Cream tablature. Every once in a while, I would pick up something and learn a bit, like how to read the key by the number of sharps and flats. The very first day, I had this poster I understood the pentonic scale in relation to I, IV, V pattern, as well as, other information. I also purchased the Scale and the Chord poster. The scales on the Scale Poster didn't quite match the ones from a preferred book I was using. The Chord Poster might work for a beginner, however, chords can be found with the song or in a book or online. My niece now has the Chord Poster along with an Ibanez and a Microcube. Perhaps, the Scale and the Chord posters have their use, but they pale in comparison to the Hal Leonard Guitar Theory Poster. The Hal Leonard Guitar Theory Poster is highly recommended for the beginner or the tab learner to give him or her some basic knowledge of theory.
