Hagstrom is an international company with a truly prolific past. Founded in Sweden, the company first found success as an importer of accordions. It wasn't until 1958 that the company made history when they became the first company outside the United States to mass-producer professional electric guitars. Even though the Hagstrom brand has shifted directions, they have not forgotten their origins and often deck their electric guitars out in eclectic finishes that remain reminiscent of some of their eye-catching accordion designs. By putting a spin on guitar design that is distinctly their own, Hagstrom is able to produce a wide range of instruments that are sought after by professionals and hobbyists alike.
Over their half century of experience, Hagstrom has had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of artists. Fresh faced up and comers, as well as legends all turn to Hagstrom to offer them the best playing experience possible. Artists such as the guys in Big Country, Max Helyer from You Me At Six, Pat Smear, Rod Gonzales of Die Ärzte, and more all hit stages around the world with their Hagstrom guitars, creating awesome music for their fans every night.
