Big Gretsch Tone!

By Dennis Calas

from SF,CA

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G6118T-LTV 130th Anniversary Junior:

Pluses: Classic Gretsch hollowbody tone, manageable body size, ample fretboard, nice understated classic appointments (no eagles or signatures or bull horns) TV Jones pups that offer a variety of tones. Short scale takes some getting used to..but I like it! Negs: None...just need to bond with it a bit more. Price used to be, but GC just knocked it down by a lot. Could be the fact it's not a highly recognized model(?)...at least in my research. Sounds great clean or with gain...could be a Blues/Jazz machine. Played it thru a Tone King Imperial 20th Anniversary.
