The Renown Birch drums add sonic diversity to Gretsch's Renown series. Shells feature 6-plies of premium North American birch with 30-degree bearing edges and natural finished interiors. Sonically, these drums pump out articulate and clean tones that cut with clarity. Birch shells have long been appreciated by drummers who want tonal separation, whether in the studio or on stage.

All drums are outfitted with heavy-duty Renown chrome hardware, including die-cast hoops, hinged tom and floor tom brackets and die-cast bass drum claws and spurs.
