Overview

Gorilla Snot helps guitarists hang on to their picks while burning up the strings and helps drummers keep a grip on their drumsticks when they drum up a sweat. Gorilla Snot has also found a niche among roadies and sound techs for hauling gear around.

Natural, biodegradable rosin is applied by rubbing a small amount of Gorilla Snot between your thumb and index finger and working it into your pick or sticks. Gorilla snot dries in about 45 seconds, forming a soft yet tacky surface activated by body heat.

This product is what it is all about. It does keep its name true by far. It does look like snot when you first look at it. Its a very solid sturdy tack that you barely rub your fingers over and the tack is very clear on your fingers. It feels greasy at first but once you really start playing you don't feel the greasy hold on your fingers anymore. It is really worth it your pick goes no where. I know i use my pick all the time. I think everyone should go out and buy this product its really that good or at least try it out. YOu wont regret your purchase

Gorilla Snot

Comments about Gorilla Snot:

This product does its job. It helps you hold onto your picks. After using it for a while, it does form a slightly greasy film on your fingers and requires you to then use more of it in order to hold onto your pick. It works ok but I would suggest just getting some picks that have built in ways to hold onto them.

Pretty good, but...

By Nate Henrichs

Comments about Gorilla Snot:

This stuff works really good, I'm a guitarist, and it helps when burning up on solos, and more. But if you're like me and you wipe your hands on your pants to dry them, the 'snot' will pick up the threads of your clothes and leave your hands covered in strings ect.

Comments about Gorilla Snot:

This stuff it's kool but i think that this is 4 biginners not 4 experienced musicians. But i would use it when i have to play 4 a lot of people, b/c sometimes my hands get really sweaty. But I definitly recommend it!

Comments about Gorilla Snot:

This stuff is pretty wierd. I can see their idea on making some stuf that helps you hold on to your picks, but its kind of pointless. It will make your fingers kind of greasy after you put it on. If you really need this stuff, go for it, but I think you should just learn to hold on to your picks.

This stuff is great if used CAREFULLY,

By Michael Hillman

from Boise, Idaho

Comments about Gorilla Snot:

I've just a little of this for years to keep my fingerpicks from slipping, and to give just a little tack to the steel when playing Dobro. You just have to be very carefull with it; a little goes a long way, and keep a soft cloth around to clean up any unwanted bits that may get on to your instrument.

Great little product

By D A Munson

from Charlotte, NC

Comments about Gorilla Snot:

It only takes a little bit of this stuff to make a big difference. It does work wonders whether you are a beginner or some one who prefers smaller picks. The secrete is to rub just a little on one side of the pick and then let it dry for a day. That means that I cycle through a dozen picks or so and always have several ready to go. I use the tear-drop jazz picks, and I would be lost without Gorilla Snot. Don

Comments about Gorilla Snot:

As I'm getting older I've been experiencing spinal issues that have affected my grip. And holding on to a pick can really be a challenge sometimes. Since I am a working musician this can be a problem. But Gorilla Snot has made holding onto my pick much easier. I wish I would have discovered it years ago. The container it comes in is small so I keep it in my guitar case.
