Cheers to Gibson

By Jeff Simmons

from Austin, TX

Just got mine, and it rocks! Gibson did a great job on this bass. As soon as you pick it you know this is a rock solid bass. Neck feels really good. The action right out of the box was perfect. The pickups are really cool, Gibson took the Thunderbird pickups & evolved them(I LIKE). The Babicz bridge is killer. The Fireburst finish on mine is really smooth. Not the typical glossy finish, when the lights hit the finish is really rich. Gibson went to a black pickguard for the 2014 model, looks way better. Case is decent, overall very happy with mine.

Gibson rocks the low end

By Jeff Simmons

from Round Rock, TX

Got EB5 in Fireburst finish. This thing has a deep sound, love it. The Pick Ups are amazing for dialing tone, power, growl- they are thinderbirds that are modified, great job Gibson. Neck is rock solid, and feels good. Right out of the box the action was perfect. Hard shell case case is decent. Excellent bass!
