This limited edition will stand out among all others in a finish color Gibson has never offered before.

A solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides and short scale produce the power and the nuance in performance that make the J-45 famous. This limited edition features the award-winning LR Baggs® Element VTC. Ships with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Since 1942, the Gibson J-45 has been on more stages and in more recording studios than any guitar in history, hence its nickname, "The Workhorse." Features true to the original include solid genuine mahogany back, sides, and neck, solid Sitka spruce top, scalloped spruce bracing, and a traditional compound dovetail neck to body joint attached with old world hide glue. The 24-¾ scale length works in concert with the slope shouldered spruce and mahogany body and neck to produce a balanced Low/Mid/High tonality that works for all genres of music requiring a steel string acoustic guitar. The award-winning L.R. Baggs Element pickup system provides additional possibilities to this already guitar for all seasons. This particular J-45 is available for the first time in Navy Blue, and is one of only 50 available for all of North America. Comes with a plush-lined Gibson hardshell case, and a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
