I purchased this case fully aware it was not a as durable or as "heavy" as a flight case. But for the money and to just transfer your amp to local gigs i think this case is well worth it. Obviously you want to take care of your gear, and this case will help you in protecting your amp from dings and scrapes . The handle seams sturdy enough, and the wheels should work as long as you dont try to wheel this down, or up stairs...I bought this for my fender blues deluxe...fits like a glove.....would highly recomend this product...

I was in 2 bands, one in Sacramento that was doing gigging in San Francisco and another up in Oregon. I got the case to transport my Crate 30 watt amp and adjunct equpment like chords, microphone, etc. Going to a gig, and after only 6 weeks of use, a wheel feel off, forcing me to move the case along on 1 wheel about 4 blocks from the gig and 6 blocks after. The company didn't want to pay to repair it or replace it as they said I shouldn't have "dragged" it after the wheel came off. What was I supposed to do? I had a gig to get to. So, it falls apart quickly and the company doesn't stand behind it. If you regularly gig, invest in a better quality product.

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

As a singing keyboard player, I have been scaling down. It is nice to have 2 keyboards and a mic on one stand. And now I can fit my Carvin AG300, cables and a mini powered vocal monitor with a folding stand all in this case. I own several Gator cases and have always been very happy with them.

It's a great fit for my Dr. Z amp, but not long after I bought it, the retractable handle broke. It is a sturdy case and provides great protection, just go easy on the handle.

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

I agree with the other reviews on this product. It is bulky. Hard to carry and get through doors. The wheels seem to be the worst part of the design flaw. They are too small and only work in a relatively strait line.

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

This would have been a good investment if I wasn't into compact. It was a little to big for me and my amp and the hand release would release at the most unopertune times. I liked it and the way it raised my amp to a nice level, but again, to big for me.

Buy something better, this thing is not that great
Im a part time gigging musician & the one thing I hate about this is the wheels always somehow lock on there own..Im tired of reaching below to unlock them...the bar on the wheels are too long & always touch the ground wich causes this
another thing is the corners of this thing are very big to support the wheels wich makes this take up alot of space if you have a small car.

Great Idea, could use some Quality improvement

            from DFW, TX

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

Like others, I had a problem with the wheels. The first time I used it, I was rolling the case along the sidewalk and one of the wheels came loose. I'll follow suit and replace with heavy duty casters. It might be nicer if the handle were on the side, or the casters swiveled. Rolling thru a narrow doorway ain't gonna happen. You have to pick it up and carry it thru. Other than that, it's a good case, fits my amp perfectly, with room for my digital multi-effects pedal as well. Roomy front pocket for cables, etc. I sit the amp on top during gigs, and I really like having it up higher. Bottom line, except for the wheels, it's a good deal.
First time I used it, one of the wheels broke off.

            Good for local gigs

            By Page-kFbWZ

            from Naples, FL.

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

This case is fine for local gigs, but if I were still on the road it would not last. The major problem is the wheel design. They should have put a rotating caster on each corner. I removed the stock wheels and put 4 heavy duty casters on each corner. The handle is a joke too. It does protect the amp.
