I just recieved my proline guitar stand today and so far I am very pleased with its quality. The satnd looks nice and is built solid, the only problem I saw was that there is a tag explaining that the padding may dammage the finish on guitars with Nitro Cellulous Lacquer finish. Overall the proline stand is great quality for the price and I would purchase it again.

Use this stand at your house

This stand is good for holding a guitar at your house. It isn't sturdy, but if your not moving it around too much, it gets the job done.

It's a stand

By Jentry Thomason

from Walker, LA

The first one I ordered (chrome) online and picked it up in store. When I got it home it was broken. There is a tiny spot weld that holds the top tube to the base and that weld failed. I returned it and exchanged for a second one (black) and it was fine. I suspect that the chrome may have had something to do with the bad weld. The crook where the guitar neck goes is not very wide, a 5-string bass neck is too wide to fit. Other than that, it's not a bad stand for the price.

Until it broke it worked well.

By Scott Tyack

from Dallas TX

Less than two weeks after purchase the bracket at the bottom snapped off. Weight of an electric guitar too much? Small welds? Just a bad copy? Who knows? Maybe it's better suited to an acoustic guitar or maybe you just have to be very gentle when putting your guitar in the stand.

Guitar will FALL!

By marcus jackson

from Moore, Oklahoma

I have two of these and both stands have fell over multiple time when my guitar was on it. I use these stands with a telecaster, Martin acoustic, and dean ML shaped guitar and all of them have fell over when placed on the stand. I have carpet floors, but it shouldn't fall over anyways. I don't want to take the stand to any gigs because i'm afraid it will fall and hit the hard floor. DONT BUY THESE!

getting another one

By Susan Hamman

from Dallas, TX

Have two of these, and they are great. Easy for kids and adults to use. Had no trouble putting it together (one of the kids did it). The stand is durable and feels solid. They look nice in my living room and we are always ready to play!

Love the Chrome one

By Allen Treschler

from Las Vegas

I have several of these (prefer the looks of Chrome) and they hold my ES 335, Les Paul, Strat, and accoustic guitar perfectly. 3 things stand out for me, the lower yolk swivels to balance unusual shapes (such a strat) so the yolk swivels a little to keep the guitar perfectly upright, next the stand can be set quite tall, finally the build quality is excellent. I have seen reviews saying the end caps fall off or the stand falls apart. I guess I got good ones as they are solid, stand being handled/moved well, hold my guitars solidly, and look GREAT. I have had them for 2 years now and find them the best value still (and best looking) stands. I highly recommend them.

Even Though it's made in China

By EDWARD ROGERS

from Easton, PA

Even though it's made in China, it's actually good quality, I bought it for my daughter for Christmas for her little Martin acoustic, but it will for sure, hold heavier and much larger guitars, acoustic and electric.

Sturdy, Reliable Guitar Stand

By Ryan Hitch

from Nashville, TN

This is a WONDERFUL stand. It has saved me so much money and I never have to worry if someone or something is going to knock it over. It has a really sturdy base with 3 legs extending out at the bottom. It is solid black with a locking mechanism up at the top around the neck area. I have owned this for 2 years and has fufilled my expectations each and everyday. This is really worth buying.
