In Short, this amp is not only beautiful to look at, easy to coax superb tone out of, but hey - - this baby does it all. Clean Stevie Blues, Clapton's woman tone, Eddie's "brown sound," Grohl growl, and mega-metal. If you can only afford one really good amp, you cannot go wrong with the Super Sonic.

  • Amazing! Hands down the best amp in price range.

I am currently a recording musician who also actively plays in a band. I recently returned my Marshall DSL50 to get this amp and have no regrets. This amp has a very versital sound. If you know how to utilize the modes and features of this amp, with a few minor tweaks you can dial in virtually any sound you could want. Also using the features of this amp to jump the effects loop you can have a footswitchable lead channel. This amp is worth every penny of what you pay. Will be buying another for a backup/ one that stays primarily in the studio.

I have had my super sonic for 6 months now and am pretty satisfied with it. The clean channel set to the bassman setting is unbelievably fat. I dont care much for the vibrolux setting or the overdrive channel, and am displeased with the absence of reverb. I run a boss super overdrive in front of it and a delay on the effects loop. I just love the way it sounds. You have to run pedals with this amp, and that can get costly, but the end result is an amazing sound. It is an excellent platform for a very versatile rig. If you are planning on buying this amp, I recommend also buying a Fender reverb unit.
