super-sonic head

I have had my super sonic for 6 months now and am pretty satisfied with it. The clean channel set to the bassman setting is unbelievably fat. I dont care much for the vibrolux setting or the overdrive channel, and am displeased with the absence of reverb. I run a boss super overdrive in front of it and a delay on the effects loop. I just love the way it sounds. You have to run pedals with this amp, and that can get costly, but the end result is an amazing sound. It is an excellent platform for a very versatile rig. If you are planning on buying this amp, I recommend also buying a Fender reverb unit.

Amazing! Hands down the best amp in price range.

I am currently a recording musician who also actively plays in a band. I recently returned my Marshall DSL50 to get this amp and have no regrets. This amp has a very versital sound. If you know how to utilize the modes and features of this amp, with a few minor tweaks you can dial in virtually any sound you could want. Also using the features of this amp to jump the effects loop you can have a footswitchable lead channel. This amp is worth every penny of what you pay. Will be buying another for a backup/ one that stays primarily in the studio.

Flexible and LOUD

I have the head and 4x12 combination and this thing rocks. It blew the sox off our other guitarists vetta2. Played my first gig sunday with it and it handled clean to blues to hard rock with no problems. I might like a reverb and possibly a mid control on the "vintage" channel, but i don't miss them too much. i used a pod xt live through the fx loop and added my own verb, delay and rotary speaker fx. this thing does run a little hot, so i added a computer case fan to draw cool air in. all in all, a rockin amp. i played the whole gig(about 500 in the audience) with the volume on 1 and a half. plenty of punch and the tone is phenomenal.
