  • Great Amp

I picked the Supersonic up at GC after playing on it right away. As another wrote, you can play this low or loud unlike some other amps that you can't even crack 1 on the volume knob without being too loud. I play a Les Paul Classic and a Telecaster with this and it does great with both guitars and takes pedals good too. This is as close to the mythical Fender clean and Marshall distortion in one amp. Buy it.

played around on this amp one day in guitar center and had to have it. if you love clean fender tone and overdriven tones that actually sound realistic then this is the amp for you.the vibrolux is very bright and clear and the bassman is a full bodied tone perfect for blues.the burn channel is modeled after the old prosonic.very versatile too.sustain and really good distortion.if you crank the volume on the clean channel it produces the best overdrive i've ever heard from such a small amp.by the way, this amp is so loud to be a one 12.sounds more like two 12's.i'd say this amp would suit any player of any style.the cons of this amp would be the lack of vibrato and the reverb feeds back when turned up past 7 or 8. great amp for my taste

This amp is truly incredible. As it has been said before, it delivers more crunchy, overdrive than any other fender amp out there. It makes any guitar sound golden. The clean sounds, are just plain amazing too. The Vibrolux is shimmering, with great harmonics, and the Bassman is punchy, thick, and accurate. The reverb is also also great, too, with a great effect, but not too oppressive. The Celestion speaker is fantastic, as well. Really an amazing amplifier.

I checked out the Fender Super Sonic 1x12.. Suddenly, all the tone that was in my head was there...that Fender clank, churp and warm buttery overdrive. All of this made possible with this "little" 60 watt tone monster! And the amp is light enough to haul around in a little car. If you want or have to replicate most sounds, or want to search for that tone in your head...it can be made possible with the Fender Super Sonic. Good enough for me. Go get one and see for yourself!!

I've been a life long Fender guitar junkie, but was never crazy about their amps. The styles I play on a regular basis are more suited to a Vox AC30 or a Marshall JCM 800. I always loved the clean tone of a Fender, but was never wowed by the overdrive tone...until now. The Semi-Sonic is the Ceau-de-gras of all in one combo's. With the versatility of Vibrolux and Bassman clean tones at your disposal, and an overdrive repetoire that will allow you to play any kind music from rock to jazz to country and transition effortlessly between them, the search is finally over. This is the amp you've been looking for. Whether a gigging musician, or just an avid tone junkie, the Super-Sonic will take your playing and dreaming to a whole new level.

I have been looking for a tube, channel switching amp for the last few months and I am thrilled the search is over. I've owned and played some great amps including Marshall, Fenders and the like but this one does it all. The vintage clean channel has the singing bell like tones of the old Fender tube amps but better compression and pick response. It really brings out the best in whatever guitar you use. The burn channel provides sweet, violin-like sustain or Marshall like crunch depending on how you adjust the dual gains. The Supersonic combo has ONE perfectly voiced 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speaker. When I first cranked it and heard the full, thick sound I thought for sure it had to have be a 2/12. I have over thirty years of experience and I can honestly say this is the best sounding amplifier I have ever played. Plenty of power, totally versatile and TONE, TONE, TONE!
