Beautiful

I got my first Fender tube amp in the early 70's, a Vibrosonic with a 15". I've had classic twins etc. This is all the amp most musicians will ever need, provided you have a good multi effects unit, or at very least a good distortion pedal. It is a bit noisy when turned up past halfway, and just plain louder than s/s amps of double or more the wattage. Purists will appreciate the sweet tone courtesy of the super simple, clean circuitry. You might think you need more than 15 watts, but it is surprisingly loud.

Solid Little Amp

For the money, this is a sweet little amp. Smooths out the rough edges of stompboxes, so it's well worth the extra money over the solid-state competitors. Alone, I do wish the distortion would begin a little sooner than it does, but it's not enough to make me want to trade it. I'll sometimes A-B it with my '66 Bassman for a little extra depth to my sound.

Real Tube Sound

As they say, don't let how simple this amp is fool you. It gives some great Fender tube tone for practicing. It's small enough that you can crank it up to get some warm tube distortion without your neighbors hating you. I've even used it for jamming with a drummer. It sounded awesome turned way up. It's a good value for your money and lives up to the Fender name. If you want a straightforward tube amp you will not be disappointed.
