The 24" high Fender Custom Shop Barstool is comfortable, sturdy, and stylish. The stool has a padded vinyl seat that swivels 360 degrees, and a heavy-gauge 1" tubular steel frame with a chrome-plated finish. The stylish seat's thick foam-padded top is made from commercial grade vinyl and proudly displays the Fender Custom Shop spade logo.
My husband was VERY pleased with this gift. It is very sturdy and has a thick hard cushioned yet comfortable seat. He's a big guy and the hardwood stools were too hard and the flimsey callapseable ones stools were not sturdy enought to hold him. The height was just appropriate for him to jam out on his Fender. The taller version may have made it hard to reach the ground to tap your foot to your jams. The design/look rocks!
As stools go, this one definitely has the cool factor and is well built. However, I think Fender could have been a bit more generous with the seat padding as I can see this very measly amount wearing out within a year or so. Of course you can always buy cushion caps but that defeats the purpose of having the nice custom shop logo on display.
Great purchase. Solid construction. Beautiful graphics on very comfortable black cushion. Will be purchasing larger one as well.
