This pedal is everything you've heard from your friends. Awesome durability and construction. The only think that I can say would improve this pedal is like most volume pedals that this company makes, the bulk of the volume swell happens in the last 15-20% of the heel-to-toe action. This can be cumbersome at first until you get used to the motion. Great Volume Pedal!
Ernie Ball VP JR. Passive Volume Pedal. I enjoy this volume pedal because it doesn't color tone... You know if the components are poor in quality the volume pedal will reflect that. This one is solid and great. The tuner out is very handy but be aware that if your tuner is poor in quality it may still effet the tone.
I purchased this pedal after recommendations from Eventide for operating the expression capabilities of their PitchFactor Harmonizer Pedal. Glad I made this choice. It works perfectly, and without a battery or power supply :-). The unit is very well constructed, feels great under foot and looks terrific. Well designed pedal.
