The 70's in a box
What a great little tube amp. Don't even use effects at first. Just plug in and play with the volume settings. You'll be amazed at the different tones to get. Want crunchy? Turn it up then back off the volume on your guitar.
Want clean, do the opposite. I don't know where you can get a real tube amp for this price. Anybody want to buy my old solid state practice amp? I'm never gonna play it again.

Hot little package
Look, it's a real live class A tube amp for under $150. Give me a break! You can mod it, you can replace the speaker, you can paint the mother pink - and it STILL would cost less than 1/3 of the "other" 5-watt, one-knob, class A tube amp out there! Better yet, leave it box-stock and you've got it for one FIFTH of the cost! As for sound, this thing will surprise the shitzu out of you. Warm, tuby crunch, and plenty of volume. What are you, crazy? Get it before Epi wakes up.

wonderful amp for the price
A simple class-A amp that is sure to impressed. It comes out of the box with the warmth that only tubes can deliver and designed to be easily modified. It is not a Z nor BadCat but for $139.99 ($99.99 for the head), I wouldn't expect it to be. What it is, is a wonderful sounding class-A amp for less than the price of a good pedal.

Hot rodders dream
I rated this amp as is...in it's stock version. That being said..this amp is a great deal, and a great way to get into amp mods. The circuit is so simple and you can do so many things with it. It's a straight forward class a tube amp with classic rock tones. I use it in stereo with my Vox pathfinder and they compliment each other very well. keep in mind, it does have some hum (at least the early versions did) and at minimum you will want to put better tubes in. I actually converted mine into a head unit, which Epiphone now sells, and run it through a 12" celestion...its a rock machine. it also takes dirt pedals very well. I'm amzed at how much amp $140 buys these days.

I love this little amp...
I bought this on a trade and I love this amp. At only 5 watts, this thing really pushes volume. Great for practice but would not suggest you use it for recording. The one reason and only draw back is that the amp has a very noticable hum. If you like that in the song, great, but you may not want that in every song you write.
There are several mod sites on the net to convert the amp to DC and other things to do to it to get rid of the hum but i suggest you consult a pro before you try (the site I read, the author says this amp was made to be moded).
Over all, this is a great tube amp for the money.
