This beautiful quilted maple top is our leading customer-rated product, and for good reason.
Epiphone has been building quality guitars since 1910 and has based this beauty on one of the most famous guitar designs of all time the Gibson Les Paul. This guitar, authorized by Gibson, has been painstakingly built 100% to their specs. The mahogany neck, mahogany and alder body, and chrome hardware contribute to the incredibly sweet, signature Les Paul tone. It features a 24-3/4"-scale set neck, 2 open-coil humbucker pickups with a volume and tone control for each, and a 1.68" nut. The fast action, nice sustain, and awesome tone make this highly playable guitar great for any type of music from punk to bluegrass. What really makes this guitar stand out however, is the flawless finish and arched, quilted maple carved top. The rosewood fretboard, with trapezoid inlays and body and neck binding, tops off this charmer. No other guitar sounds like the famous Les Paul.

Oh - WOW
I just got this guitar on august 21, 2007 and let me tell you, at first you will feel like your breaking your wallet if your a teenager like me... but then ITS ALL WORTH IT! This is an excellent guitar. The only thing is I'm going to change the strings... but that's it. AMAZING! I got the transparent red and I think this is the prettyist one of all... BUY IT B4 THERE ALL GONE!

Great Guitar, but pics are decieving.
I purchased this guitar and I love it. I have not played for a real long time, but I have played other people's electrics. The sound is great, and it is easily played for even beginners than most other guitars. The only beef I have is the finish, mine is Wine Red, is much, much darker than the pics on-line. It is nice looking, but you can't really see the quilting pattern. Other than that a great guitar.

Great Les Paul!
I picked this thing up and couldn't believe it ws an Epi!! It was a snitch deciding to buy it but the color choice was just so hard. But, I ended up getting the wine red and MAN, it looks like a million bucks! I bought some Gibson pickup covers for it in chrome because it makes the guitar look more classy. Execellent tone, really can just barely tell the difference between a Gibson Les Paul Standard. Replace the strings because all stock strings are crap. I threw on some Ernie Ball slinkies and it was ready to be played. Great guitar for intermediate players, which is my category. Once I get more advanced I will more then likely upgrade, but for my skill level, this is the perfect guitar for me. Great buy, great tone, awesome look!! Get it and love it. Oh! By the way, definately buy a hardshell case for this beauty.

Epiphone Les Paul classic quilted top
This is a great guitar with few shortcomings. This guitar feels solid, sounds great and is well worth the money. Pickups are good for the price and the sustain is amazing.

Best Buy Ever
Best choice ever made, I have played BC Rich, Ibanez, and Schecter, But the Epiphone Les Paul is by far the most versitle. The sound and playability is worth ten times the price. A good set of EMGs' though makes the guitar a real blessing.
