Elation Protron Star 750-Watt High-Output DMX Strobe Light

In a flash of genius, Elation has come up with a way to double the power and brightness of a strobe light. The company has introduced a revolutionary DMX strobe effect, the Protron Star, which projects a powerful 1500-watt output from a 750-watt lamp.
The Protron Star Strobe magically multiplies its wattage using a breakthrough feature called "Flash Burst." The Flash Burst feature enables the Protron Star to flash at a super high speed, about three times as fast as a conventional strobe (up to 15 flashes per second!). This ultra-fast flashing creates a blinder effect that intensifies the strobe's output to 1500 watts.

Yet, despite its intensely brilliant output, the Protron Star light will not overheat and "thermal out." That's because the fixture uses advanced Thermal Sensing Technology, which prevents it from becoming too hot.

The Protron Star is DMX compatible, allowing it to be run from any standard DMX-512 controller. The high-speed Flash Burst feature becomes operational when the unit is in the DMX mode. The fixture also includes a Stand Alone mode with selectable flash intensity and speed.

The Protron Star projects vivid Flash Burst intensity with a strobe that is exclusively in white. It comes with three DMX channels, one each for controlling: Flash Speed, Flash Dimmer, and Power Burst Function. In the Stand Alone mode, the Protron Star provides selectable intensity and selectable speed.

The Protron Star offers a Flash Range of 1-15 flashes per second, and 0-100% Dimming. It comes equipped with a 750-watt ZB-300 lamp.
