Comments about ESP LTD James Hetfield Snakebyte Electric Guitar:

Went into the store looking for a Gibson explorer. Saw this hanging on the wall and was aware of the new product from the NAMM show videos. Had to sit down and jam on it. Wow. Satin neck, Sits great in your lap, and the neck radius is perfect. Not a thin U like Ibanez but not fat like a SG. On clean, it's bright and characteristic. I wouldn't say jingly, but not thin like a lot of actives tend to sound clean. Overdrive/dirty sounded phenomenal. Literally right when I switched to the dirty channel I had to bust out the opening master or puppets riff and it sounded on point. Just like the album. Had good chug, great sustain, killer looks. Even if your not a metallica fan, this is a shredder with characteristic. I was expecting a bland active pick up sound and was bite by the Snake! Killer guitar.
