The ESP Arrow CTM NT (EX24-06) is a visionary electric guitar that pushes the boundaries of craftsmanship and tone, staking its claim as one of 12 exclusive exhibition instruments showcased at the winter NAMM Show in 2024. Master luthiers from the ESP Custom Shop in Tokyo designed this stunning piece to be as much a work of art as a high-performance guitar, displaying coveted wood stocks and specialized building techniques. With set-thru construction on a swamp ash body, a thin U-shape seven-piece neck and Seymour Duncan pickups, the Arrow CTM NT delivers sustain, clarity and balance, while maintaining museum-quality artistry. A true collector’s piece, this one-off ESP Arrow CTM NT represents the pinnacle of luthier expertise and craftsmanship, and is a functional piece of art to be played and admired.

ESP Arrow CTM NT Tonewoods

Figured Tonewoods Provide Aesthetic and Sonic Beauty

The top and back of the Arrow CTM NT feature beautifully figured curly walnut with spalted maple edges—set on an exemplary swamp ash body—with a thin dark brown burst applied near the edges of the walnut to exaggerate its bevels. These tonewoods provide visual elegance as well as a full, resonant tone with clear, ringing highs and tight, focused lows. The swamp ash foundation adds warmth and richness tonally, allowing the flamed walnut and spalted maple to shine through. Pink-finished wood is also used throughout the instrument as a playful accent—as with cherry blossoms, pink pairs beautifully with brown. Guitars are meant to be played, but we wouldn't blame you if you simply wanted to appreciate the attention to detail that’s gone into producing the custom ESP Arrow CTM NT.

ESP Arrow CTM NT Handcrafted Hardware

Outstanding Handcrafted Hardware

The Arrow CTM NT features custom hardware designed specifically for this guitar, including a one-of-a-kind brass bridge and a set of pickup rings that have been specially tailored to the instrument. These handcrafted components provide a gorgeous visual contrast to the figured tonewoods and display an unparalleled level of artisanship. Functionally, the tailpiece anchors the strings to the body, allowing them to resonate fully for rich tone and sustain. Whether you choose to play it or display it, the ESP Arrow CTM NT delivers in every category.

ESP Arrow CTM NT Set-Thru Neck

Set-Thru Neck Maximizes Sustain

With set-thru construction, the neck extends through the body of the Arrow CTM NT, anchored directly into the tailpiece. This provides maximum contact between the neck and body, so notes ring out with full sustain and resonance. The thin U-shape seven-piece neck—comprised of quilted maple, purpleheart, hard maple and ziricote—also provides fast, comfortable playability so you can express yourself freely. And, if you just want to admire the intricacy and mastery involved in producing the ESP Arrow CTM NT, a guitar like this beckons for it.

ESP Arrow CTM NT Seymour Duncan Pickups

Seymour Duncan Pickups Provide Dynamic, Balanced Tone

With an exhibition instrument of this quality and magnitude, we almost forgot to mention its pickups. The ESP Arrow CTM NT is equipped with Seymour Duncan ’78 pickups in the neck and bridge position. This set provides a dynamic, balanced tone with clarity in the highs, punch in the mids and fullness in the lows. They capture the nuance in your playing technique and allow you to shape your sound with the volume and tone controls, reminding you that the Arrow CTM NT is as playable and uniquely voiced as it is absolutely stunning in looks and quality.

The Arrow CTM NT represents the apex of wood selection, hardware, electronics and craftsmanship. It's an astonishing instrument designed to inspire you with its tone and captivate you with its beauty. For musicians and collectors seeking a work of art that pushes creative boundaries, the Arrow CTM NT quite literally delivers an experience like no other, as a one-of-one guitar straight from the ESP master luthiers in Tokyo.
