  • Blown away by the quality of this guitar.

    First thing first, I did not buy this guitar, I won it. So I'm really un-biased with this review. My main guitar is a PRS McCarty Rosewood, so I believe I have a fair idea of what a good guitar is. I was not expecting much when I got this in the mail. I was dead wrong. LTD somehow manages to pump out this guitar for 300 when it could easily pass for 6-800 dollar guitars. The fit and finish is FLAWLESS. Everything was very tight and clean, and the maple top looks fantastic. The pickups are somewhat bland, but they're great for the price of the guitar. Every bit as good as Duncan Designed and such. The guitar feels very nice, solid, and quality in your hands. I'm not used to flat fretboards, and not a fan of reverse headstocks, so this had to take some getting used to, but man, with the quality of this guitar it makes me seriously consider buying more ESP's from now on. Seriously, it doesn't matter what player grade you are, this is a good guitar that would make an excellent first, second, third guitar. It's that good. I don't know how they do it for these prices. Negatives? I don't care much for the reverse pointy headstock, and the tone knob on mine is way too stiff and slow.

  • Solid Axe

    Recently purchased a used model of this guitar. Actually play bass and wanted something like this around the house for writing purposes. Drawn to this model for the maple fretboard and reverse headstock. Fixed a few issues, being used, and have been playing this daily since purchased. Solid axe and would pay full price for a new one if I had to do it all over again! And, yes, it has a Floyd Rose. Despised restringing until the B snapped at the bridge but was reusable. Can't say that for a ball end.

  • Officially an ESP Guitar guy now for life!!

    As soon as I opened this piece of brilliance from the box I knew I had something epic in my hands. The neck was the first thing I noticed, its quite thick yet smooth and fast and reminds me of a stratocaster neck almost but with a design for metal music and shredding. The pickups are great and give tons of flexibility to whatever style it is you wanna play, especially lead wise as far as solos are concerned. The sustain is ridiculously awesome and jaw dropping. Everything about this guitar is very comfortable and affordable. I honestly don't know why I waited this long to by an ESP. This guitar is great for any player and I would definitively recommend this guitar for the aspiring or already proficient to advanced metal guitarist.
