For the simplest and cheapest Dunlop wah out on the market, this thing can hold its own against the higher end more advanced models. This pedal will do exactly what you expect, deliver great wah tones. In the treble position you can get a nice biting tone, and as you let up, you get a fuzzy yet focused sound. I've had this wah for 6 months and have had no problems with it, and have only replaced the battery once. If you unplug the pedal from your rig when you're not using it, the life is greatly increased. The pedal is also mad of some tough stuff, and i've had no problems with it after it's endured the trunk of the car in both the northern biting snow storms and the indiana sun. Overall, you really can't go wrong with this wah. It does exactly what you want from it, without spending the extra cash on the other models. Highly recommended.

I got the crybaby for Christmas, and it sounded great... for the first day that is. The next day, it broke! The button stopped clicking so i couldnt turn it on. I returned it to Guitar Center and they gave me a replacement, and the replacement was great too, but then about 1 week after that I had the same problem with the pedal not clicking. Also, I wasn't abusing the pedal. This is not a durable pedal at ALL, the only upside is that it sounds good.

My husband wanted to replace his wah with the one he used to have many years ago and this is "exactly" the same one! He was overjoyed to use it right away and worked perfect! It made the perfect Christmas present! Tracking and Shipping very well done!
This pedal is by far my favorite one. I love the tone I get out of this pedal. It is a great sounding pedal for a fantastic price.
So what it should be! Fun, Fun, FUN!!!
Once you try one you can't be without it, enough said. Try one! Great price too!
This is my first wah wah and to be honest, just wasn't sure it was something I wanted as I learn my guitars and gear. Well, after the very first time I plugged 'er in, I knew buying the Cry Baby was the RIGHT choice. The response in impressive and the added effects put me closer to the "right" sound. The rest is up to my playing abilities.
when i read reviews about this pedal online, i was abit frightened about the breaking on me, but that wasnt the case, it's my first pedal and lets just stay its living up to its standards. The sound i get out if it is incredible and its easy to store some place. if anyone wants a durable, lasting pedal i would go with dunlop cause it's definitely something to look forward to.
SO after my vox finally broke i decided to get a crybaby instead. I never liked my vox i thought that it sounded horrible and when it finally broke I justified buying a new one. I couldn't be happier with my crybaby. After I adjusted the range I fell in love. This pedal is amazing!!! it doesn't pop when I turn it on like my vox and it handles distortion a lot better. I think my vox was better for clean sounds but I hardly ever use my clean channel. What I like the most about this crybaby though is that is doesn't get lost when I use my fuzz. When I used my vox with fuzz it would get lost in the fuzz total opposite with the crybaby its loud clear and fuzzy. I think this is great for Tom Morello, rock, and rock blues sounds.
just got one for christmas. All around good pedal but i had a little trouble with the pot. The teeth werent turn it and eery now and then i have to press the teeth against the pot. But other than that its an awseome pedal
I started looking at some effects in a GC catalog and saw the Crybaby on there. about a month or so later, we went to guitar center and tried one out, which is when I got the EJ jazz IIIs. It sounded great with the Iele I tested it with. You just need to understand how to turn it on. Also sounds great with my cube 40xl, which has a bunch of effects and distortion (sounds great with all of it) I've had it for a few weeks and I haven't seen any problems with it. It's just awesome!
I've never been one to write a review but this is an outstanding pedal. Sounds amazing, you can play anything with it and make it sound very cool. Adds style and personality to any song that sets guitar players apart. A Dunlop Crybaby is a must-have for guitarists everywhere, and this is a great pedal that won't break the bank! If you're on the fence about this pedal, don't be! It's so worth it!
