Little pricey, but the best!

By Antonio Aguirre

from Longmont Colorado

These are my favorite picks ever. No they do not make me play better but they are fast and accurate, the best part is they they're the normal size of a pick and I live that. However, they're a little pricey and 6 for $3 is kind of a rip off. I'd prefer it if they sold them in packs of 72 for like $15-$20. This way You'd never run out and wouldn't have to pay so much.

Search no further

By Dustin Benefield

Really, this is THE guitar pick. It blows everything else away. Extremely stiff but not overly thick. This means you get excellent tone, and precise control. It's also the most durable pick I've ever seen. I've had the same half dozen set of picks for over a year and the tips on them barely show any wear at all. There's no excuse not to give these a shot.

These picks make me play better!

By proghead

from WI

The point of the pick seems to hit the string without as much resistance as some picks do, which improves my speed and timing accuracy. It doesn't tend to get stuck on the string like some picks. The material of the pick seems to warm up the tone a little. I don't hear as much brightness and edge as I do with some picks. For rock rhythm and leads, you might want more edge. For fluid jazz or shredding leads, you might prefer this pick's warm attack.

Great pick for me.

By Brian Fuller

from Denver, CO

RE: Dunlop Jazz III XL Stiffo Guitar Pick This pick is as close to perfection as I have yet seen for my playing style (acoustic flatpicking, newgrassy). I normally play a Martin D-35 with a light gauge DۡAddario Phosphor Bronze string. The pick shape and stiffness provides for very accurate and fast picking without the detrimental pick flex that comes with lighter picks but still retains the very crisp sound of the string the comes with a lighter pick. There is a small scratchy sound on the wound strings that can be controlled by varying the angle of the pick on the string.

These are IT

By Colin

from San Antonio, TX

I've recently concluded my search for the ultimate pick with these picks right here. I'm a big fan of stiffness for accuracy, sharpness for speed, and also a good size for grip and playing alot of fast accurate muting and pinch harmonics. These picks are the ones I've found best suited overall for my style for clear accurate sweeps and tremolo picking all the way up the neck down to fast muted riffage on the low frets. So far I haven't noticed much wear at all in the past 2 weeks either. I've tried Gel, Tortex, and Ultex and these just have the best smoothest and fastest feel to me and a great tone. If you've tried and liked the smaller Jazz III's yet need more size and grip, these are for you.

Amazing Pick

By Nik

from Rowley

This pick is amazing for speed picking, it's so much easier to pick faster because of the sharp point and the stiffness. Also, I find it's easier to pull off clean pinch harmonics because it's smaller than most other picks. Great for fast metal riffs and solos. Buy these picks!

Love these picks!

By Fixxxated

from Iowa

I've been using Jazz III'z for years and they're a mega-upgrade from the traditional medium/heavy Fender picks, but the problem with the regular ones was the size, but eventually u get used to it. But now with the XL series there's no worries for your pick slipping out!

Jazz III's just got better!!

By RIAN

from Arizona

I bought a pack of these simply because i loved the original jazz III's precison, but wanted a larger griping surface that normal size picks provided. The larger design makes all the difference when it comes to playing live. You spend less time trying to hang on to it and more time Focusing on technique. If you are unsatisfied with the small grip surface of normal jazz picks but still want the sharp point and quick release edge look no further!
