Description
The Digital Music Doctor Mixing & Mastering Know It All! tutorial DVD offers a complete guide to digital audio mixing and mastering. An overview section introduces the necessary audio engineering concepts. Both the Mixing and Mastering sections are organized into a straightforward framework consisting of 5 elements: volume, panning, dynamics, EQ, and effects.
The tutorials on the instructional DVD illustrate the principles and concepts of audio mixing and mastering using a number of examples created in popular pro audio products. Examples in the Mixing section use primarily Pro Tools, Sonar, and Cubase, and examples in the Mastering section concentrate on Ozone, Sound Forge, Audition, and Soundtrack Pro. Audio plug-ins from T-Racks, Waves, PSP Audioware, and Voxengo are also demonstrated.
The Mixing & Mastering tutorials are 4 hours and 16 minutes of Adobe Flash interactive videos on a data DVD that you play in your Windows XP or MAC OS X-equipped computers with DVD-ROM disc drive (NOTE: This Data DVD is like a CD-ROM and will not play in a video DVD player). For detailed descriptions of the subjects covered as well as the module timings for this course see the Mixing & Mastering Tutorial Outline in the features section.
