The Dean V Chicago Standard Electric Guitar celebrates the town that put Dean Guitars on the map. It has the sort of finish and appointments you would find on more expensive models. It features a mahogany body and a set mahogany neck with a comfortable V contour. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 frets and abolone dot inlays. Grover tuners and a tune-o-matic string-through bridge offer dependable intonation and improved sustain. Electronics consist of DiMarzio Super Distortion bridge & neck pickups wired to a 3-way switch with individual Volume controls and a single Master Tone.

Dean Guitars' new Chicago series pays homage to the original Dean guitars produced in Chicago and introduced at the 1977 NAMM show. These guitars embody the high quality materials and craftsmanship usually limited to custom instruments.
