  • bad strings

    get the goldphos... these things are horrible lasted me a week and they sounded like they were on it for a year. the other guy who wrote the review obviously doesn't play it everyday, even a nice set of strings will last 2 to 3 weeks a month if your lucky. went through 3 sets by the way so i know these are definatly not good.

    I recently decided to try these strings after my friend kept telling me how good they were. I always put elixir strings on my Taylor and Alvarez acoustic's and would never even think about buying any other strings. I was amazed with the alchemy goldbronze strings, the sound with the dean markley's last a lot longer and even sound better fresh out of the box.

    I put these Alchemy GoldBronze custom light strings on my guitar on Oct. 8, 2006. It is now Aug. 10, 2007 and I am still on the same set. They still sound good and they still look clean. I play this guitar every day and I rarely wipe it down or clean it. I wanted to see how long these strings could last and it's almost a year and still going strong. Talk about bang for your buck.
