Dualing Banjo's

I used to own the aria sb100 5 string banjo, which had traditional banjo tuning. I thought being a guitar player, banjo would be no problem. I was wrong, this solved my problem beautifully. If you can play guitar, you can play this banjo no problem, & it's really well made. I always wan't to play banjo since I saw Deliverance, now I can. Settle on the porch and play away, but, don't go in the woods.

Good axe-easy crossover

I've been wanting to join my bluegrass buds for a while but just couldn't get used to banjo tuning. I'm older and the learning curve is just too high now. This instrument is great! Now all I have to do is learn how to play banjo licks instead of guitar!

Dean BW6 Backwoods 6-string Banjo

The Dean BW6 6-string banjo is wonderful for anyone who can play guitar and wants that banjo twang. This is a wonderful hybrid product. I have found that this is a wonderful instrument for country or bluegrass. I liked using this 6-string model a lot more than the 5-sting banjos that i have used in the past! You'll have that country twang before you know it!

My Mule

I love this thing. I have to admit, I don't have decades of experience with strings, or any musical instrument for that matter. But 5 months ago, the Dean backwoods 6-string came into my life, and I have had so much fun with it, I have come to love strings and I just can't put them down. I now own an Acoustic, an Electric, a Bass, two Violins, an Autoharp...my point is, the 6-string banjo is a great instrument that reminds everyone, beginner and pro alike, that music is suppose to be fun. And man, is this thing fun. I call it my Mule, not quite a banjo, not a guitar, but it has sparked a love of making music that I never knew I had. Seriously, if you are someone who needs a reminder of how much fun PLAYING with music can be, get this little gitbox. It started a passion that takes up every day of my life.

Alot of fun

Banjitar, Guitjo, 6 string banjo or whatever you want to call it.. I call it a funjo. For the price this is a nice looking and good sounding instrument. The only problem is the action is a little high and I wish there was some instructions on where to put the saddle when setting it up.. Probably a good idea to take it to your local guitar guy and have it set up properly.. But other than that it has a nice loud tone to it. You could easily play this around a bunch of Martins with heavy strings on them outside..
