Top line sound at a bare bones price

Comments about D'Addario XLB025W XL Nickel Wound Long Scale .025 Electric Bass String:

A few months ago, i received a Squire Jazz bass for my birthday and was happy to finally have a bass to play with, but after a few weeks of constant playing the D string broke. I needed a new string to keep my bass playing dreams alive, so i went into guitar center, and these strings stuck out to me, do to their low price, and the reputation as "Player's choice". After having the D string installed i was blown away by the tone i was able to achieve. I quickly swapped out the remaining strings on the bass and now i have a $200 Jazz bass that sounds like a $1200 bass. Definitely worth buying.
