  • These are my favorite LIGHT flats

As reviewed by Bill on 3/9/2009

I've tried a bunch of different brands and I keep coming back to the ECB80XL. Very SMOOTHE. Try them, you'll like them.

  • So far...

As reviewed by Patrick James McKenna on 1/21/2010

I won't give a 5 Star rating because somewhere there has to be a better set of strings. The better strings are probably made by D'Addario. I had some problems finding replacement strings for a Rogue AB-304 acoustic electric bass. The low E string wouldn't fit bridge. I finally decided to try out a set of D'Addario ECB80 strings. The .095 sized E string fit. (The other strings were also an easy fit.) These strings exceeded my expectations. For anyone who is in the process of breaking the epidemic addiction to roundwound strings, I highly recommend the D'Addario ECB80.
