Good pick minor quality control issues

Comments about Clayton Sand Shark Acetal Grip Guitar Pick:

I got just a 6-pack at first, I liked them so much I bought like 20 more. However, the second purchase revealed 2, useless slit picks of 6 when I opened the first package. Otherwise, these are really good and last a long time. The sand grip helps me hold on to it as I relax my hand to get into a good jam. Before these I had a tendency to drop my picks while in the zone. I haven't really liked the heaviness of other picks with contours or extra thickness where the pick comes in contact with your fingers. The sand does creep down a little bit too far towards the end that comes in contact with the strings, so you might need hold it a bit closer than you normally would. I had to adjust my usual holding-pattern to use these, but it was well worth it. I like a light pick and the .38mm does slap back, but is not too slappy like some of the other light picks out there.

This is a personal choice but I like it for rythmn and lead. Great grip and quality. Would like to see it come in triangle.

Too much pick slap for my taste but that's what that thin of a pick is like. Just doesn't fit my needs

I want to like these, but...

Comments about Clayton Sand Shark Acetal Grip Guitar Pick:

I REALLY like the feel of these picks, and the sandy texture does a GREAT job keeping the pick in place. But there's a portion of the "sand" down at the shark's tail that snags on my high E-string when strumming. If you choke up on the pick it's not a problem, but I only do that when I'm playing lead riffs. When I strum I let more of the pick rake across the strings to get a more mellow sound. Unfortunately I had to stop using these because I was worried about breaking a string. I'd recommend trying them, especially if you tend to choke up on the pick a lot. But if you're a light strummer like me, be careful about that grit close to the tip of the pick. Also - these things run really heavy. Order a lighter gauge than you typically play. I usually play with heavier picks, but using this pick is like playing with a quarter :-)

        Amazing!!

Comments about Clayton Sand Shark Acetal Grip Guitar Pick:

These picks are great. The sand on them really adds traction for those fast riffs. The tone the picks supply along with the overall comfort really won me over. These are my new favorite picks....hands down

        Good

Comments about Clayton Sand Shark Acetal Grip Guitar Pick:

These are good picks, i got the .38's and for how thin they are the dont break too esily, the sand grip is annoying at first but it wears down to fit your fingers, but however i liked these picks.
