The Chauvet LED Techno Strobe is a DMX-512 controllable, flash LED panel made up of highly efficient and super-bright white LEDs. With a coverage area of 20' x 20' and features like blackout/static/dimmer/strobe, an additional power output for daisy chaining units, and low power consumption, the LED Techno Strobe is sure to impress you and your audience.
The LED Techno Strobe can operate in three modes: standalone, master/slave, and DMX-512 with 3 channels. Without a DMX controller, it can be operated as a single fixture or together with several other LED Techno Strobe fixtures in master/slave mode. It's also linkable with the LED Techno Strobe RGB and the LED Shadow in standalone mode. The DMX control mode lets you control each individual trait of the fixture and each fixture independently for the greatest flexibility when customizing or creating a show. There are built-in automated and sound-active programs for master/slave and DMX modes. In standalone mode, you can control the adjustable flash rate, dimmer, and static in standalone mode via dipswitches.

I purchased a Chauvet Mega StrobeIII, plugged it in, programed it and the bulb burnt out in less than 5 mins. So I returned it and decided to try out the LED strobe since the bulb life is 100,000hr vs a mere 500 with halogen.
Have to give Guitar Center props....I ordered the repacked version and it was getting delayed so they send me the NIB model at the same price and overnighted it as I was expecting it for a gig! Thanks GC!!!!!
The LED Strobe will work out but I'll need another one for the club I use it in that has low ceilings, and a 20x40 or so dance floor. It's just not as bright as the Mega Strobe was for the few minutes it lasted. But I'd rather have a few of the LED Strobes than have to worry about buying $35 bulbs on a weekly basis....
