I bought this and Dimension and I am blown away and I own a lot of synths (hardware and software).
Omnisphere, Korg Legacy, etc etc.
These cakewalk synths are very unique and sound amazing. Fantastic that they are available for the mac.
I may be mistaken but I guess they are basically Roland synths in software form since Roland owns cakewalk. Really impressed. And they free offer expansion packs and there are many incredible sounds online.
Tired of thin sounding digital synths that don't deliver, I decided to try this out. Rapture has more features than you'll probably need, but who can complain about more? I've played songs from Dada Life, Avicii, Noah + The Man, just about every night so I know what a great synth should sound like. It really maximizes the pressure and punch without needing compressors. Buy this you won't be disappointed.
