  • A must have for multi pedal or amp users

As reviewed by brian817 on 10/30/2006

The Boss Line Selector pedal not only expands your tonal possibilities of your pedalboard configuration into multiple amps, but powers up to five other pedals through a daisy chain, as long as you stay within it's powering limits. The manual is definately worth keeping up with and reading to get the most out of this pedal. If you use a lot of effects, or multiple amps or always wanted to, this makes playing live much easier without having to change settings for certain songs.

  • Major component to my pedalboard

As reviewed by LesDudis on 9/22/2006

I love creating background swells with my Fender Standard Strat and my Epiphone Les Paul...and it's all thanks to this pedal! I use a Boss RV-3 Reverb pedal to create a looping, reversing swell and use the LS-2 to stop the input signal into the Reverb so that I can play over the swelling background ambience. Not only that but the LS-2 also powers up my pedals! It's such a great and significant part of my board.

  • Great floor mini mixer and switch

As reviewed by HotCookCpl on 9/24/2008

This pedal is amazing and works exactly like I wanted it too. When I first looked at this pedal all I wanted was a simple A-B switch for one guitar so I could disconnect it from the mixer when I put the guitar down between songs. When I found this pedal and read all it could do I thought this would be a much better option than a simple switch. I use this pedal as a "mini mixer" and on-off switch for two guitars that are played at the same time. I have it setup in the following configuration: Guitars -> LS-2 -> TU-2 -> Mixer. By putting the tuner after the LS-2 we can easily tune either guitar even between songs. In our situation we don't have anyone monitoring the sound board so being able to locally adjust the level of each guitar is fantastic. We have three guitar players in our group and I recently purchased a second LS-2. We plan to daisy chain it to the first so we can to plug in the third guitar. We certainly could have handled our setup differently, but, for our situation, this pedal solved all of our problems in one easy to use device.
