Boosey and Hawkes Creation (CME Opera Workshop) SSAA composed by Stephen Hatfield

Creation is in seven short movements that parallel the seven days described in the Bible. At the end of each day there is a short hymn of thanksgiving based on the text And God saw that it was good. Written for treble chorus and handbells, there are opportunities to make creative decisions about soundscapes in free time, as well as the inclusion of the audience and a second choir.
