This is well worth the investment with anyone on a budget who wants a variety of believable tones. It not only has an incredible array of classic amps, but is solidly built and will hold up for years. I've had mine for almost 3 years and more than put it through its paces, and it's held up great and never let me down.
The tones are crisp, and easily tweakable. The only drawback is many of the pre-sets are useless for my needs. However, don't let this deter you - the array of useless pre-sets far outweigh the bad. Get it - you'll love it for the price!
I bought this as a present for my dad so he could put a clean bass part down on pro tools. we had to tweak the effects a good deal cause the preset stuff is a little odd. hahah. but all in all a great preamp if youre not willing to pay a whole bunch
