The Aviom A-16CS Control Surface is a wired remote controller for the Aviom A-16R Personal Mixer (sold separately). With the A-16CS, the A-16R can be mounted in a rack with power amps, wireless transmitters, effects, etc., while still allowing a performer to have complete control over mix functions and presets. The user interface is similar to that of the A-16II.Each A-16CS can control one A-16R, connected by a single Cat-5 cable of up to 200 feet. Using the A-16R and A-16CS simplifies audio connections and provides two control points for a given mix. Includes one Aviom L-30 30' Cat-5e cable.

  • Why haven't you purchased an AVIOM system yet?

    I've used these for several years. Going from floor wedges and ambient room sound to these took some getting used to at first, but I wouldn't want to go without them now. Stage monitor noise is reduced or eliminated all together (we actually have one Aviom unit hooked up to a powered monitor for our pianist), everyone gets their own mix, each player can save his/her settings individually, etc. If you have the money to spend, this is a no brainer. Do it. Your sound man will have much better control over house sound, and your team will be able to hear each other much better which equals better music. In fact, if I didn't have the money, I would find a way to get it. Just make sure you get quality earphones or ear buds to go with them; a $480 Aviom system and a $20 pair of ear buds don't mix well.

  • These are Sweet

    We have about 12 of these on the stage and I would not play without them now. Not only can you customize your own mix,(add more volume on the drums, take more synth volume down), you can save your settings. This really works well if someone else wants to come in a play, or the power gets unplugged, you don't lose your personal settings. Pan left or right, add more treble or bass, makes customizing easy. This really is the only way to go. Even though we still use amps for the guitars and bass, this has help cut down on a lot of monitors on the stage thus dropping the stage volume down, and allowing us to really push the sound through the house. Can't say enough about these mixers. I love them!

    These little Avioms are really great. We use these at my church and they really let you have your own little mix so that you can actually hear yourself. We've used them for several years and they've stood up to 5 services a week for this long. Great buy.
