This will be the last extendable boom you will ever buy. It's truly a heavy-duty professional piece of hardware that will last for many years. I bought this boom to use with the Atlas Sound MS20 stand, which I also highly recommend. The two were made for each other and the chrome finish matches perfectly with my Heil Sound "The Fin" Microphone. If you want something that looks as good as it sounds, try out this combination and get ready for a lot of compliments.
This is a very sturdy, very well made piece of equipment. I have had boom arms that cost way more and didn't come close to this quality. I consider this mid-priced, but it is made better than many that cost twice as much.
