A number of specialized breakout and interface cables are available from Apogee. These are typically designed for Apogee converter products in which multiway connectors are used to get a large number of inputs or outputs into a single connector. At the other end of the cable, usually 1m (3.28') in length, will be standard connectors, such as XLRs.

AES-16-DIGI-IFC:
For use with: Connecting the AD-16 and the DA-16 to the Digidesign 192 Digital
Format: AES/EBU In/Out
A 16-channel AES digital Input/Output cable for Digi HD Systems. The AES-16-DIGI-IFC is needed to connect Apogee's AD-16 and DA-16 to the Digidesign 192 Digital. The AES-16-DIGI-IFC is a special cable designed specifically for this purpose. Each connector is labeled to indicate the unit to which it should be connected. There are a total of four DB-25 connectors on this cable. One goes to the AD-16 AES output, one goes to the DA-16 AES input, and two connectors are for the 192 Digital. You will need two the digital option cards for the DA-16 to use 16 channels of AES.

AES-8-DIGI-IFC:

DB 25 Male To 4-XLRM/4XLRF
An 8-channel AES digital Input/Output Cable for Digi HD Systems. Eight channel AES3 input/output connection with 4 Neutrik XLR male and 4 Neutrik XLR female connectors to a DB-25 multipin connector with a metal shell for improved grounding and RF rejection. This cable provides 8 channels of AES input and output as per the AES standard. Provides 4 AES/EBU XLR inputs and 4 AES/EBU XLR outputs to a DB-25 multipin connector for Rosetta 800 and any other device that supports the Yamaha 8 channel digital In/Out wiring format.

Hardware warranty:

APOGEE ELECTRONICS CORPORATION warrants this product to be free of defects in material and manufacture under normal use for a period of 12 months. The term of this warranty begins on the date of sale to the purchaser. Units returned for warranty repair to Apogee or an authorized Apogee warranty repair facility will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's option, free of charge.

All units returned to Apogee or an authorized Apogee repair facility must be prepaid, insured and properly packaged. Apogee reserves the right to change or improve design at any time without prior notice. Design changes are not implemented retrospectively, and the incorporation of design changes into future units does not imply the availability of an upgrade to existing units.

This warranty is void if Apogee determines, in its sole business judgment, the defect to be the result of abuse, neglect, alteration or attempted repair by unauthorized personnel.

The warranties set forth above are in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and Apogee specifically disclaims any and all implied warranty of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall the company be held liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury, loss or damage sustained by any person or property, that may result from this product failing to operate correctly at any time.

USA: Some states do not allow for the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or liability for incidental or consequential damage, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Software warranty:

Limited Warranty. Apogee Electronics warrants for a period of ninety (90) days from your date of purchase that (i) the media on which the Software is recorded will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, and (ii) the Software as provided by Apogee Electronics will substantially conform to Apogee's published specifications for the Software.

Apogee Electronics' entire liability and your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of the foregoing limited warranty will be, at Apogee Electronics' option, replacement of the media, refund of the purchase price or repair or replacement of the Software.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY PROVIDED BY APOGEE ELECTRONICS AND ITS LICENSORS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH REGARD TO THE SOFTWARE AND ACCOMPANYING WRITTEN MATERIALS. BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION
