This is alright if you aren't running DMX and you are on a budget. This will effectively turn off your lights for their duty cycle and you can turn on others at the flip of a switch. What more features do you need?
It worked for powering my rack, like the amp, CD player, etc. But as for my lights, it would not do unless i ran seperate extension cords to the lights on my truss. It worked for 2 weeks and then caught fire inside. I dont know why, but it was very dissappointing. I was not too satisfied.
I bought this because my new UREI mixer doesn't have an on/off switch and I didn't like the idea of un-plugging it to turn it off so I decided this was a good investment. I already have a Furman Power Conditioner so I didn't need this as a power strip but I like the switches so I don't have to jump around my whole setup to turn off the power on my gear. And it's not just for lights, works with all of your gear and it's priced right for what it is. So if you need a rack mounted power strip but not worried about needing a conditioner, grab this, you'll like it!
